Quite often, owners fit a new ballast water management system onto their vessel without fully testing the system before they need to use them, and only find out later that they do not work properly on the ship. We ensure that all staff are fully trained on how to use the BWMS, as well as ensure that there are no integration issues with the rest of the technology and machinery on the ship. We also test the BWMS to ensure that the system is operating the way it should, for the function it was designed for, at 100% effectiveness.
